The moccasin is constructed from split cowhide and has an inner liner of acrylic.
The outer trim is genuine rabbit fur. The extra sole increases the durability of the slipper and extra stitching has been added to increase strength and enhance the fit of the slipper.
Hand sewn beads adorn the vamp area.
The leather used in the construction of the slipper is very soft and will stretch
as the slipper is worn. Therefore, the moccasin should fit 'snug' when purchased.
A properly fitting moccasin should feel quite snug when you first try it on. Some people have to give it a good tug before their foot will slide in. Their toes press against the front of the slipper. This is a perfect fit. The moccasin will stretch to fit. If you purchase a moccasin to initially fit like a shoe, it will stretch out and become too lose. Order the same size that you normally wear in a good dress shoe.
Great detail has been given to applying the beads to the moccasin to prevent breakage
under normal wear. However, the beads may get snagged and come loose and therefore
cannot be guaranteed.
Moccasins are designed for indoor use and the length of wear will greatly depend
on how they are treated. Outdoor wear on rough and abrasive surfaces will greatly
reduce life expectancy. If the moccasin should get wet we recommend that it is allowed
to dry slowly at normal room temperature. Under no circumstances should a leather
moccasin with fur trim be washed by hand or machine, nor should it be machine dried.
The product is guaranteed against any defects in materials and workmanship and will
be repaired or replaced should such problems arise.
